Please refer to the following guidelines for any questions you might have on your Wheel Workshop.
Throwing on the potter’s wheel is a learned skill that takes a lot of time, so please don’t expect to make something amazing on your first try!
At the end of the workshop, you'll have the option to keep your creations and select a glaze to have it finished in.
Your work is ready for pickup two weeks after your workshop. We try to send everyone a courtesy reminder email to come in and pick up your piece.
Glazing times will be available for you to return to finish your piece.
After each piece has been glaze fired it will be ready for pick up and an email will be sent to you with pick up times dates and times.
CLASS REFUNDS AND CREDITS
All participants are responsible to show up to class. Participants will not be refunded or credited for missed classes.
Classes and Workshops are non-refundable if canceled less than 48 hours before the first class starts of each session.
If you are requesting a refund before the 48 hour cut off, please send your request to foxfieldpottery@gmail.com no less than 48 hours before the first class starts. You can also request a credit for the full amount to be applied to a future class or workshop.
You can transfer your purchased spot in a class or workshop to friends and family, please email us at info@penguinfoot.com if you are doing so and let us know who to expect.
Any missed classes must be made up in open studio time during the two week time period following your 6 week class. We are unable to offer class transfers or credits beyond your enrolled session for makeup classes.
Class registration will not be refunded in the event of dismissal for failing to follow safety rules and studio guidelines.
It is important to understand that the cost of your workshop or class is for the experience and instruction on the potter's wheel and is not solely based on keeping a piece of pottery. There are no refunds for damaged, lost, or discarded pottery.
There are many variables during the drying and firing process, we make every effort to ensure the success of your pottery, some variables make it impossible to guarantee your work will be in ideal condition after each firing.
